Letter from the President

Letter from the President

I am profoundly honored to lead the Capital Industrial Security Awareness Council (CISAC) and the National Industrial Security Program (NISP) participants in the Capital Region. Our mission is to “be a principal security resource for all Capital Region Security Professionals through up-to-date education, seminars, and networking."

Since the CISAC’s inception in 2010, the organization has experienced an extraordinary growth in membership.  This is largely due to the CISAC’s continued commitment to provide informative education and bi-annual conferences to industry and its leaders.  It is also an attribute of the tireless efforts and relentless dedication volunteered by the Officers, Executive Board of Directors and Executive Committee members. With the advancement of technology, unified solidarity and collaboration with the Defense Security Service (DSS), we are pleased to serve our communities.

The CISAC has many exciting events and opportunities outlined in the near future.  Our hope is that through these opportunities we will continue to increase our exposure, membership, and take the education provided at each seminar to the next level.  I am asking all NISP participants to be a part of this exciting time.  Help us to help you!  The CISAC is a 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization. We are asking our targeted audience in the Capital Region and their companies to sponsor and support our organization’s mission through the contribution of your time as a volunteer on a committee, talents, influence and monetary donations.

I encourage everyone to take advantage of this opportunity to give.  There are substantial rewards for all sponsors.  The CISAC has levels of sponsorships and their benefits such as: special recognition, signage and advertisement for companies.  There are also humanitarian rewards such as: providing education to security professionals in our local communities, setup workshops, host conferences, implement future programs that will benefit wounded troops and their families, and give to under privileged children during the holidays. Please visit our Donations page for more details and to give today.

In closing, I would like to extend a very special thanks to NISP participants and our agency partners for making the CISAC an exhilarating success.  Your devotion and unwavering support has made a tremendous difference.  We could not have done this without you!  I look forward to our strategic partnership and future endeavors.
