The Capital Industrial Security Awareness Council (CISAC) is a volunteer (non-profit) organization of cleared defense contractors and the Defense Security Service (DSS).  It was formed in 2010 by representatives from various companies within the defense industry and William Spoon, a DSS representative to address the security needs in the Capital Region.  The CISAC Board and Committee members meet four to six times a year to plan their semi-annual security conferences.  For optimal attendance, all CISAC conferences are held on Wednesdays during Spring and Fall from 10am – 12pm.
